When you serve with City Year every day is a chance to make a difference. No two days will be exactly alike, but here is an example of what a typical day might be like with City Year Rhode Island:
7:30 - 7:45 am -- Circle up with your fellow corps members at the school you serve to discuss the day ahead.
7:45 - 8:00 am – Greet the middle school students.
8:00 – 11:00 am – Provide in-class tutoring and classroom support.
11:00 am - 12:45 pm – Mentoring/Lunch Duty.
12:45 - 1:45 pm – Team meeting or prep time.
1:45 - 2:30 pm – Prep time and after school meeting.
2:30 - 5:00 pm - Lead after-school activity with students, such as homework club or basketball.
5:30 pm – Team Circle to discuss the day and review the schedule for tomorrow.
6:00 pm – Head home to get some rest!
