Serve-a-thon

Serve-A-Thon is one of City Year Greater Philadelphia’s signature service events where hundreds of volunteers will perform a single day of physical service. City Year leads volunteers, ranging from school-age children and youth to corporate employees to active community members, in restoring and beautifying recreation centers used for the public good.

The work performed by these volunteers transforms community resources into brighter, cleaner, and safer places for kids to participate in summer camps, after-school programs, and other enrichment activities. The event further serves to connect people of different backgrounds, ages, and life experiences in a day of powerful community service.
