City Year Greater Philadelphia's Tribute Dinner was established in 2000 to honor individuals who have been instrumental in the success of City Year and its corps members, as a part of their broader impact and contribution to the Philadelphia community. The Tribute Dinner celebrates the power of young people and citizens to make a difference in their communities with a festive night of exceptional cuisine and inspirational speakers.
More than 600 citizens, business and community leaders, and City Year Greater Philadelphia corps members join together to honor those who have shown a commitment to improving the community and the lives of those who live in Philadelphia. Honorees have shown courage and leadership in bringing people together to solve our greatest challenges. They have broken down social barriers, promoted community service and made our city a better place.
Honorees have dedicated themselves to the greater good of the region and embody the true definition of "idealism."
