About the City Year Greater Philadelphia Annual Dinner
City Year Greater Philadelphia’s 2012 Idealist of the Year Tribute Dinner will honor Arthur R. Block, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Comcast Corporation. The event will bring together major local and national leaders and City Year champions for an engaging evening of inspiration and celebration. In 2000, City Year Greater Philadelphia held its inaugural Tribute Dinner which hosted over 1,200 people to honor Warren V. “Pete” Musser. Since then, the Tribute Dinner has engaged over 5,000 citizen supporters, business, and community leaders. Honorees from previous years have included Senator Harris Wofford, Richard Green, CEO of Firstrust Bank, David L. Cohen, Executive Vice President of Comcast, Bill McDermott, Co-CEO of SAP AG, Joe Banner, President of the Philadelphia Eagles, and most recently Lynn L. Elsenhans, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sunoco, Inc.
