On October 2, 2009, more than 1,500 young idealists across the country pledged to serve America as members of the 2009-2010 City Year national corps.
In the company of family, friends, and supporters, 225 of these leaders committed to a year of service in the schools and communities of Philadelphia.
City Year Greater Philadelphia thanks everyone who attended. Your support for this year's corps is inspirational and has helped to launch another powerful year of service.
