City Year New Hampshire's 11th Annual Graduation recognized the accomplishments of 54 corps members who gave a year of their lives to make a difference in schools and communities around the state.
Family, friends, and supporters joined City Year in acknowledging the hard work and dedication of these young leaders. As corps members prepare for new and exciting chapters in their lives, Graduation marked the beginning of a lifetime of service and leadership. During the program, corps members shared lessons from their year of service. In addition, the corps was addressed by City Year New Hampshire Board Chair Major General (Ret.) Ken Clark and Manchester Mayor Ted Gatsas. Perhaps the highlight of the evening was an address by corps member Abbi MacFarlane, elected by her peers to speak to the group. Abbi shared her insight and reflections from her year of service with a captivated audience. In the end, 54 corps members walked across the stage to receive their diplomas to begin the next phase of their journey.

“What is City Year to me? City Year is a promise and a commitment. A promise to be the best person I can be. A commitment to make the world a better place. A promise to not stand idly by in the face of injustice and apathy and suffering. A commitment to love and serve my neighbor. My City Year lit a fire within me that will forever guide my path.“
– Bobby Kessling, CYNH Alum, 2003-2005
