Opening Day Celebration

In the company of family, friends, and supporters, 45 young leaders pledged to make a difference in the schools and neighborhoods of communities throughout New Hampshire on Opening Day. Featured speakers included:

Bryson Cook, Vice President of Manchester Smith Barney Branch
Stephan Donahue, Principal of Hillside Middle School in Manchester
Frank Guinta, Mayor of Manchester
John Jaskolka, Manchester Chief of Police
Immediately following the high-energy ceremony, corps members, friends, family, and volunteers from Smith Barney put their pledge into action by completing a transformative service project at the Gossler Park School in Manchester. Projects included painting murals, playground games, and landscaping.
