As a corps member with City Year New Hampshire, you will make a difference in children’s lives and help develop New Hampshire’s next generation of young leaders and strengthen its communities. You will serve full-time as a tutor or mentor in schools and run after-school and school vacation programs. You will also help rebuild neighborhoods and lead transformative community service projects.

- Complete the online application. If you cannot apply online, you can either download a paper application or contact us at nhrecruitment@cityyear.org to request a hard copy application.
City Year has four published application deadlines throughout the year:
Early Deadline - September 30th; Notification on October 21st
Fall Deadline - November 15th; Notification on December 16th
Winter Deadline - February 15th; Notification on March 16th
Spring Deadline - April 30th; Notification on May 30th
Applications received after May 1st are considered on a rolling admission basis
- Letters of Recommendation. Request two letters of recommendation using the online recommendation forms provided in the application or download the recommendation forms and select two individuals to fill out the forms who know you on a professional or academic basis.
- Mail the completed references to the City Year New Hampshire office. Please also mail hardcopy applications and essays to:

Resumes are not required, but strongly encouraged. If you would like to include a resume with your application please email it to us at nhrecruitment@cityyear.org.
- Interview. Being selected to serve with City Year is a competitive process. All completed applications are reviewed for program eligibility. Once the initial review is conducted, qualified applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview. Ideally all interviews are done in person, but if that isn't an option due to distance or scheduling interviews will be conducted over the phone.
Notification of an applicant’s decision to join City Year New Hampshire is communicated via email and generally done so at one of the above notification dates corresponding with each application deadline.
