Recruitment - Service 2

Established as the thirteenth City Year location, and part of the AmeriCorps National Service network, City Year New Hampshire was launched on October 11, 2000 as the first non-urban City Year location. Serving in the Seacoast and Merrimack Valley regions of the state, our corps members serve as tutors, mentors and role models who work primarily with middle school students who are at risk of dropping out of school to get them on track academically and engaged in their communities at an early age through one-on-one tutoring, whole class support and after-school and out-of-school programming.

Now celebrating our 10th anniversary year, City Year New Hampshire has made a difference to New Hampshire's communities and children:

  • 3,700,000 corps member hours served
  • 10,550 New Hampshire middle school students served
  • 45,000 Granite State volunteers hours served
  • 240 school, community and youth agency service partners
  • More than $1,116,000 in scholarships earned by City Year New Hampshire graduates.
