On Friday, October 1, 2010, in the company of family, friends, and community supporters, City Year Milwaukee launches 60 diverse young leaders into the community. On Opening Day, corps members pledge to serve one year as tutors, mentors and role models in six Milwaukee Public Schools. They are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of students and in the communities in which they serve.
