100 Hours of Power is a powerful and innovative five day service marathon that emphasizes the transformative work that youth perform to make a difference in their communities and inspire change. 100 Hours of Power will take place in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans, with our opening ceremony and first day of service occuring at Progress Elementary School in North Baton Rouge.
In the true spirit of 100 Hours of Power, our City Year Louisiana corps members will constantly be on the move in our communities!
Opening Ceremony
Location: Progress Elementary School, North Baton Rouge
When: 10 a.m., with physical service at Progress Elementary immediately following
Additional Service Will Include:
- Overnight service at Magnolia Woods Elementary School in South Baton Rouge
- Legacy project at Highland Elementary School in South Baton Rouge
- Partnering with the Baton Rouge Mid-City Redevelopment Alliance for a day of service
