Your support of City Year Louisiana is far more than checkbook philanthropy. It helps City Year corps members put their idealism to work by tutoring and mentoring school children, reclaiming public spaces, and organizing after-school programs in both Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

There are several ways in which corporations, individuals, and philanthropic organizations can partner with City Year Louisiana:

TEAM SPONSORSHIP

As a team sponsor, your organization will support a team of 6 to 14 City year corps members. The Team Sponsor Program is City Year Louisiana’s premier partnership opportunity and each team proudly wears their sponsor's logo on their City Year t-shirts as a visible sign of our partners' commitment to the community. You will work with our service partners and your corps member team to address community issues and develop bonds with the communities of Louisiana. In addition, your team sponsorship will give your employees the opportunity to serve their communities in exciting and innovative ways.

EVENT SPONSORSHIP

City Year Louisiana hosts events and programs throughout the year to promote community service and civic engagement.  Events such as Martin Luther King Day and 100 Hours of Power are planned and facilitated by corps members and engage the community in service.
