Speed to Read 5K Run
On Friday, May 9th, City Year Louisiana will be hosting our 2nd Annual Speed to Read 5K Run!
The Speed to Read 5K Run aims to promote literacy and healthy lifestyles in the Baton Rouge community. All donations raised by students and community members provides books and other literacy materials for a local school library. Students and community members of all ages are welcome and encouraged to participate. There will even be a one mile fun run for those who do not wish to run the 5K.
The schedule for the evening is as follows:
5:15 p.m. - Registration
6:00 p.m. - 1 mile fun run
6:30 p.m. - 5K race begins
