At City Year graduation, we celebrate the accomplishments of the 100 corps members who give a year of their lives to make a difference in Los Angeles' schools and neighborhoods. Family, friends, and supporters join City Year in acknowledging the hard work and dedication of these young leaders. As corps members prepare for new and exciting chapters in their lives, graduation marks the beginning of a lifetime of service and leadership. In 2008, the graduation program included appearances by LAUSD students and principals and a keynote address from Ted Harbert, President and CEO of the Comcast Entertainment Group.
