City Year Los Angeles has partnered with elementary and middle schools to bring corps members to students to focus on academic success, career and college preparedness, civics and student service opportunities.
"42nd Street is very fortunate to have the City Year at our school site. I cannot say enough about what City Year is doing at our school site. The members of City Year come into our school site daily to share a part of themselves and enrich our students' lives in a variety of capacities. The members work with our students in one-to-one and small group settings. They are hands on, creative, and energetic about working with our students. They have truly become a special part of the 42nd Street family. Thank you City Year for what you do and how you do it. This is an amazing organization that has so much to offer to young children. I am just so thankful that we were allowed to be a part of it."
