"They have brought the vision that I saw for the school that I couldn’t do myself or with the people that are here."
- Principal Carolyn McKie, 116th Street Elementary School
City Year partners with public schools to provide full-time, targeted intervention for students most at-risk. Our teams of young leaders support students – before, during, and after school – through in-class tutoring, mentoring, and after school programs that keep them in school and on track to graduate. By the end of the '09-'10 school year, 79% of City Year students were less likely to drop out.
