What is City Heroes?

City Heroes is a program that brings together high school students from diverse backgrounds for six months of intensive leadership development, social awareness and community service that runs from January to May. We want young people to believe in the power they have to make a positive impact now and throughout their lives.

What will you do?

City Heroes meet twice each month. At our overnight retreats, they will closely examine a social issue that affects, their communities and themselves. They will learn, discuss and debate – and leave with the determination to initiate positive change. Later that month, their determination will turn into action, as they provide a day of powerful service to those who are directly affected by the issue.

Who can join?
