Thank you for your interest in The Paul and Phyllis Fireman Public Service Fellowship at City Year.
In 1999, as a special gift to celebrate City Year’s 10th anniversary, the Paul and Phyllis Fireman Foundation endowed City Year’s first public service fellowship. The Fireman Public Service Fellowship at City Year is designed to provide an opportunity for a highly talented and committed member of the business, civic or governmental sector, who is a recent graduate of an MBA, MPP, MPA or other advanced studies program with demonstrated commitment to citizen service, public service, nonprofit management and/or social entrepreneurship.
The Fireman Fellow will join a professional, talented and diverse staff, work on projects that are essential to helping City Year achieve its organizational goals, and gain practical experience in nonprofit management and social enterprise.
