In School Service

City Year corps members play an integral role in students’ educational experiences. 

City Year teams partner with local schools to:

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring
• Assist teachers in classrooms 
• Organize student councils and service clubs
• Lead recreational activities and art projects
• Teach social issues curricula about community building, the environment, poverty and violence
