Thank you for your interest in and generous support of City Year. Stock donations can be accepted via two modes of delivery: electronic delivery of shares or delivery of shares by US Mail. Electronic delivery of stock shares is more secure, expedient, and cost efficient than delivery by US Mail, and also offers greater internal control to City Year. To help facilitate a stock donation, please refer to the following instructions.
NOTIFICATION OF DONOR INTENT
The donor or the transferring broker must provide the following information for audit and acknowledgement purposes, regardless of the method of delivery:
- Donor’s name and complete address
- Name and number of securities transferred
- Specific City Year program to which the gift should be directed, if any
