Jeffrey L. Shames is the retired chairman of MFS Investment Management® and the executive in residence of MIT’s Sloan School of Management.  His public service experience ranges from volunteering with the Peace Corps in Fiji to working with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, D.C. Mr. Shames is a member of the Board of Directors of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and serves as a member of the Visiting Committee and the Dean’s Advisory Board of the Sloan School at MIT.
