Job Summary:

Work closely with Executive Director: Assists the Executive Director to support critical administrative functions of day-to-day operations and board work. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, supporting the Executive Director with mailings, preparation of board meeting packets, filing, heavy scheduling, specialized projects, telephone messaging, managing schedules, and preparing and tracking budgets for staff. Requires strong computer, business writing/editing skills, and internet research skills. Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. · Provide extensive administrative support: Helps dept directors manage their monthly budgets. reports. Supporting Development. Assists with preparation and coordination of mass mailings as requested; coordinates administrative support for major fundraising and program events for the site, i.e., Service, the Ripples of Hope Dinner and Graduation.Assists with event planning Maintain, update, edit database and spreadsheets 

Position Overview:

The Executive Assistant performs administrative duties for the Executive Director and the Director of Development.

· Degree preferred· 1-3 years work experience. · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and activities, function effectively under pressure, maintain a sense of humor and provide excellent customer service· Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Raiser’s Edge · Attention to detail and an excellent attitude· Strong computer, written and oral skills
