City Year Detroit would like to recognize the people and corporations that make our work possible.  Your contributions make a difference for the schools and communities of Detroit.

With past contributions:
  • The Roberto Clemente Academy Team served in 14 classrooms and tutored more than 200 children helping with spelling, reading, vocabulary, history, computers, art, science and math.
  • We were able to plant 108 trees in a local neighborhood park.
  • Corps members serving at the Academy of the Americas elementary school were able to host a Thanksgiving canned food drive collecting more than 1,700 cans to be distributed to AOA families in need.
  • We sorted and packed over 2000 books to be distributed to Detroit elementary school children.
