YOUTH SERVE-A-THON sponsored by Donatos and Panera
Youth Serve-a-Thon is a large-scale community service and fundraising event led by City Year corps members to help create positive change in the City of Columbus and help raise dollars for City Year programs. Geared toward middle school, high school and college students as well as teams of City Year alumni, corporations and friends and family, Youth Serve-a-Thon will bring together 400 volunteers to complete high-impact transformative projects such as painting murals, improving playgrounds and beautifying community spaces.

YOUTH SERVE-A-THON
Each year, City Year’s Youth Serve-A-Thon brings over 300 youth volunteers from throughout our city together to perform inspiring and transformative physical service that changes communities and inspires hope. Led by City Year corps members, volunteers engage in painting, planting, and various other projects that will transform Columbus neighborhoods.
This year, our work will be focused in the Linden community, where four of our teams work in three schools as tutors, mentors and role models to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Similar to a walk-a-thon, volunteers are encouraged to set fundraising goals and secure donations. All contributions go to support the work of City Year and its corps members, who serve as mentors, tutors and role models to over 300 middle and high school students, and over 1,500 elementary school students each year in the Columbus City School district.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
All registered volunteers will receive a Youth Serve-a-Thon t-shirt, breakfast, lunch, snacks and water throughout the day. The registration fee to participate in the day’s activities is $10, and volunteers can challenge each other to obtain pledges and win great prizes!
DONOR LEVELS:

$50—City Year Drawstring Backpack, T-shirt, Breakfast, and Lunch
$100—City Year Water Bottle, City Year Drawstring Backpack, T-shirt, Breakfast, and Lunch
