Starfish Corps After-School Program
Monday-Thursdays, October 2010 - May 2011

Join us for our after-school program that focuses on third, fourth, and fifth grade students. Corps members offer safe, structured and fun activities for students that compliment their daily learning. Along with conducting homework workshops, corps members will teach students about issues affecting their community.

Make a Difference Day

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

The King Holiday and Service Act of 1994 transformed the observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday into a day of service that reflects his life and teachings. Each year, City Year corps members partner with local youth agencies to help deliver Dr. King’s message.

A celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. City Year Columbus corps members and volunteers partner with area elementary schools to spread the excitement of reading through interactive activities geared around Dr. Seuss’ work.
