CITY YEAR CLEVELAND LAUNCHES YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS

The majority of Cleveland students lack basic after-school programming. City Year Cleveland corps members lead youth leadership programs that provide service learning and leadership development activities for elementary through high school students at six Cleveland Metropolitan School District schools during after-school hours.

STARFISH CORPS

Designed for elementary students in grades 3-6, the Starfish Corps offers safe, structured, and fun activities during after-school time that foster understanding of community, teamwork, and service.

Activities include writing letters to city council members about neighborhood improvements, planting school gardens, and painting murals.

I am an elementary school student wishing to participate in fun learning activities after school.
I want to meet other elementary school students looking for meaningful after-school activities.
I attend Cleveland's Miles Park, Mound, Luis Munoz Marin or Clark K-8 school.
