Ways to Give

Your support of City Year Cleveland is far more than checkbook philanthropy. Your support helps City Year Cleveland corps members make a difference through tutoring and mentoring children, implementing transformation community projects and organizing after-school programs. Corporations, individuals and philanthropic entities can donate to and partner as a sponsor with City Year Cleveland in a number of ways.

TEAM SPONSORSHIP

As a team sponsor, your organization provides the needed support to a team of six to 14 City Year Cleveland corps members.  Sponsors will work with area service partners and City Year Cleveland corps member team to perform service and develop bonds with Cleveland's communities.  Team sponsorship also provides employees opportunities to serve in the community.  For more information please contact Gretchen Faro.

INDIVIDUAL GIVING

General donations can be made to support City Year Cleveland's work and the corps members making difference in Cleveland through their dedicated year of service.  Please direct inquiries to Brenda Ridenour.

• Support International Initiatives
  Individuals and organizations can help City Year inspire and broaden support for citizen service around the globe by joining Friends of City Year International or making a donation to the Alan Khazei Fund.

IN-KIND DONATIONS

City Year Cleveland accepts many types of generous in-kind donations from a variety of companies to support day to day operations, service initiatives and special events.  Please direct inquiries to Brenda Ridenour.

EVENT SPONSORSHIP

City Year Cleveland hosts events and programs throughout the year to promote corporate service and civic engagement.  Events such as Serve-a-thon and Martin Luther King Day are planned and facilitated by City Year Cleveland corps members and engage the community in service projects.  For more information please contact Brianna Schultz.
